Perhaps the most historic and well-known building in Jericho, New York is the Milleridge Inn. The history of this building can be traced back to 1672 when Mary Willets built a two room house on this site. That home is now the middle of this larger building.
Over the years, the rest of this building grew around Mary Willet’s original construction. It was mostly used as a home, but there’s evidence that it was also a restaurant in the late 1700s for a time.
Over 80 years ago, it was converted into a restaurant again, and it has been one ever since. However, it stays true to its colonial decor.
When you dine at the Milleridge Inn, you’ll feel like you stepped back in time.
The current owners have also added shops to the property. Their design matches the colonial theme, too.
There’s a general store, a Christmas shop, a candy shop, a bakery, and a cafe. All are worth exploring after your meal.
The food at Milleridge Inn is excellent. Much of it reflects the colonial time period, although some of the dishes are more modern.

The meatloaf is made using Martha Washington’s famous recipe. They’ve been serving it at the Milleridge Inn for decades.

Steaks include marinated skirt steak, 32 ounce bone-in ribeye, braised beef short rib, or Milleridge’s famous pot roast.
The Honey Herb Crusted Salmon is also quite good.
