The 64th Annual Grammy Awards were held recently in Los Angeles at the Crypto.com Arena. The awards ceremony was supposed to be held in January but was postponed until April. Fortunately, it gave more recording artists the time to prepare their stunning outfits. Many of them wore Dolce & Gabbana.
Carrie Underwood
American Idol alum Carrie Underwood looked like a fairy tale princess in a gold Dolce & Gabbana gown with a full skirt. The dress had a gold sequinned bodice and a sash of gold fabric along the bodice that matched her gown. She wore dangling earrings with the dress to complete the princess effect.
Later that evening, she performed her newest single Ghost Story wearing a gorgeous purple mini dress with a long train. The effect was magnificent.
Jon Batiste
The talented musician and television personality Jon Batiste was nominated for 11 awards at the Grammys. At the ceremony, he sang his hit single Freedom while wearing a dazzling Dolce & Gabbana double-breasted suit of silver with yellow diamonds outlined in black. The colorful outfit suited his eccentric style, as did the black, 15-foot-long cape he wore along with Boucheron jewelry.
The other vocalists and dancers who performed with Batiste wore Dolce & Gabbana designs as well. The female Jonettes wore a teal two-piece top and pants that revealed a bare mid-drift. The men were dressed in navy.
Annika Backes Verwest
Model and internet personality Annika Backes Verwest is married to DJ Tiesto. She and her husband are expecting their second child, a baby boy, and during one sweet moment, Tiesto knelt and kissed his wife’s tummy while photographers took the shot. For the Grammys, Verwest was dressed in a sheer black dress with a black floral print covering black underwear. She carried a gold clutch and wore black heels. Tiesto wore a gold and black suit.
Kali Uchis
Singer Kali Uchis is a Latin crossover star and won a Grammy in 2021. This year, she was nominated for her song, Telepatia. She attended the event wearing a taupe bustier with straps that partially covered her bare breasts. Under the bustier, she wore a sheer skirt and matching panties. She attended the event with her boyfriend Don Toliver who wore a black suit with an open-collar white shirt and white shoes.
Maren Morris Attended Along With Her Husband Ryan Hurd
Singer-songwriter Maren Morris, whose breakthrough Album Hero reached 5th place on the Billboard 200, wore a daring Dolce & Gabbana knee-length snakeskin print dress that was open to the waist, revealing a black, lacey bra underneath. The dress also had a front slit. She wore gold shoes with the dress.
Her husband Ryan Hurd wore a matching Dolce & Gabbana beige suit with an open-collared dark brown shirt underneath. He wore beige tasseled loafers and no socks to the event. It was a disappointing night for the couple, as neither won a Grammy.
Dolce & Gabbana’s designs are known for their rich fabrics and daring looks. The designers didn’t disappoint, and the celebrities looked stunning in their custom designs.
