Are you looking for the best hotel in Times Square for your upcoming trip to New York? But which of these hotels is the most gorgeous to stay in? My recommendation is to look at our list of the best hotels in Times Square. We’ve been in many hotels in New York City throughout the years. I’m confident you’ll find the perfect hotel on our list.
If you wish to stay in or near Times Square, there are a few nice options for lodging. New York City is home to some of the world’s coolest hotels. And, because Times Square is the city’s pulsating, shining heart, you’ll find some fantastic options there.
citizenM New York Times Square
The citizenM New York is a trendy hotel in Times Square with a lounge, bar, and rooftop bar. It’s one of the most popular hotels in the area, and because of its convenient location, you can walk to all of the major attractions in no time.
Doubletree By Hilton New York Times Square West
There are various hotels within a few blocks of the Doubletree By Hilton New York Times Square. The “Times Square West,” in my opinion, is the greatest of the bunch. There is even a roof patio with a beautiful view of the city from the upper rooms.
Hyatt Centric Times Square New York
The Hyatt Centric is a New York hotel with a rooftop lounge and exceptionally stunning rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows located directly in Times Square. As a result, you enjoy a spectacular perspective of the city. The upper-floor rooms are gorgeous.
The Times Square EDITION
The Times Square EDITION is one of the top hotels in Times Square. Everything is just right here, in my opinion: amazing design, wonderful ambiance, rooftop bar, and a fantastic view of Times Square.
Renaissance New York Times Square Hotel
The 4-star Renaissance New York Times Square Hotel is conveniently situated in Times Square, as its name suggests. It’s tastefully furnished, with dark woods and gold and blue accents. You’ll enjoy a terrific view of Times Square from the hotel rooms, with floor-to-ceiling windows. The Renaissance New York Times Square Hotel will make you feel right at home.
Hotel Millennium Broadway
The Millennium Broadway Hotel was previously known as the Millennium Times Square Hotel and is located in the pulsating heart of Manhattan, as the name suggests. Even though it is no longer the most modern hotel, it receives high marks for its location.
Margaritaville Resort Times Square
The only hotel in Times Square with a rooftop pool, the Margaritaville Resort Times Square, delivers Mexico to New York! It’s very exciting because I’ve never seen Times Square decorated with “tropical” elements before. The Margaritaville Resort Times Square is altering that, bringing a palm tree and beach holiday atmosphere to the Big Apple.
Two restaurants and many bars are located within the hotel: a Tiki bar, the Licence to Chill, and the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar. As you can see, they don’t take themselves too seriously, which I appreciate.
New York Marriott Marquis
In Times Square, New York, the Marriott Marquis is a beautiful hotel with a 360° panoramic restaurant. It’s a fantastic place, especially if you reserve a room with a “City View.” You guessed it: the views from these rooms are incredible.
YOTEL Times Square
The hotel provides excellent value for your money. It also has amazing views of the city, located in New York’s famed Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood. What else is within walking distance of the YOTEL Times Square? Not only can you witness the most popular musicals in New York on Broadway, but there’s also Rockefeller Center with its “Top of the Rock” observation deck, Bryant Park, the Flatiron, and much more. This hotel truly places you in the heart of New York, with a plethora of activities within walking distance! It even boasts a rooftop bar on the hotel’s roof.
M Social Hotel Times Square New York
The M Social New York is a recently renovated venue in Times Square’s Theatre District. Another Times Square hotel is one of my top 27 New York hotels with a wonderful view, alongside the Hyatt Times Square. The accommodations are sleek and contemporary, with Broadway, Times Square, and the Hudson River views. It’s at a great location, but it’s quiet enough to sleep in. The soundproof glazing of the floor-to-ceiling windows allows for this.
The Knickerbocker Hotel is one of the most well-known hotels in the famed Theater District of Times Square. By New York standards, the rooms are quite big and modern. St. Clouds, the hotel’s rooftop terrace, offers a breathtaking view of Times Square, perfect for unwinding after a long day in New York.
W New York Times Square
The W Hotel in Times Square is one of the most well-known hotels in the Theatre District, with a spectacular view of Times Square. There is a beautiful bar, the staff is friendly, and the location is ideal for strolling to New York’s main attractions.
Hilton Garden Inn Times Square Central
The Hilton Garden Inn West 35th Street entered my list of the best hotels in New York because of its fantastic location – many of the city’s most iconic attractions, like the SUMMIT One Vanderbilt, Bryant Park, and Times Square, are all within walking distance. But also due to its excellent price-to-performance ratio.
The Chatwal, a Luxury Collection Hotel
The Chatwal is one of Times Square’s most opulent hotels; this Art Deco boutique hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the top performances on Broadway. The hotel is known for its old-school grandeur, including butler service in every room. There’s also a prestigious spa on-site and the finest linens, soft bathrobes, and luxury items.
The Lambs Club at the Chatwal is a pub and grill that serves traditional American cuisine with a twist of haute cuisine. The restaurant offers a 232 m2 lounge on the mezzanine level with 20-foot windows looking out over the city. If you want to disappear from the real world and spend a few days in indulgent luxury in the best city in the world, the Chatwal Hotel in Times Square is unrivaled.
We hope that this helps you in finding the best hotel for you. New York City also has some of the most beautiful boutique hotels. Check our best picks if you plan to stay in a boutique hotel.
