Ardesia Wine Bar
Ardesia Wine Bar is one of our favorite places in Hell’s Kitchen because it offers a large selection of wines (hah), a stylish environment, and excellent food. The Garlic Shrimp Skewers and the Mozzarella & Bacon Sandwich are must-tries.
Connolly’s Pub & Restaurant
Connolly’s Pub and Restaurant is an Irish pub that looks just like those in books and is one of the best pubs in New York, in my opinion. A large, rustic bar with a plethora of colorful taps and plenty of superb whiskeys draws immediate attention. The kitchen is also outstanding. The burgers are a lot of fun.
Dear Irving on Hudson
The Hudson bar Dear Irving is a real insider tip. You can look down on Manhattan’s “urban canyons” from here, conveniently located near Times Square. The bar is modest and pleasant, and it isn’t as crowded as some of the others in the area. The cocktail menu isn’t extensive, but the drinks are excellent.
Electric Lemon
The rooftop bar Electric Lemon is located on the 24th floor of the Equinox Hotel in Hudson Yards. The ambiance is unique, and the sunset view of the Hudson River is breathtaking.
The Electric Lemon Rooftop Bar’s first area consists of many lounge chairs and tables. You’ll notice the elegant outdoor bar and glass fireplace (along with a view of The Vessel), which comes alive in the evening. Add in a large wire sculpture and a water basin, and you have a stunning display!
You’ll probably spend the most time in the larger area with lots of cozy lounge chairs. The Electric Lemon Rooftop Bar is a great place to unwind after a day on the High Line, especially if you’ve been out on the High Line. They also make you pay for it: Cocktails are $19 each.
Equinox Hotel
The Equinox Hotel at Hudson Yards is one of New York’s newest and trendiest hotels, and we were fortunate enough to stay there for two nights. Apart from the hotel itself, the rooftop bar and lounge with views of the Hudson River are a highlight. Spectacular.
NoMad Bar
There’s only one burger on the menu, and it’s got it: delicious fries, excellent beef, and all of this with a terrific view down to the bar. To enter the NoMad Bar, you must pass through the restaurant dining room and hide behind a curtain. As a result, it’s almost a speakeasy pub that made our list of NYC’s most gorgeous bars.
Refinery Rooftop
The Refinery Rooftop from the Refinery Hotel is a tiny rooftop bar adjacent to Bryant Park with a beautiful view of the Empire State Building. This Midtown two-story rooftop bar isn’t extremely large, but it has a lot of appeal because of the mix of location and beverage quality.
230 Fifth Rooftop Bar
230 Fifth Street is undoubtedly New York City’s most famous rooftop bar. It’s recognized for its spectacular views of the Empire State Building, delicious cocktails, and spacious outdoor seating space. The 230 Fifth is always a wonderful idea, whether it’s summer or winter. The sunset is usually beautiful, and cuddling under blankets with hot mushrooms in the winter is also a nice place to sit.
American Whiskey
American Whiskey outlets may be found in NYC’s Tribeca and Chelsea neighborhoods. Guests may slug whiskey inside a three-story booze lodge, unlike any sports bar you’ve ever visited. Fans adore the leather and oak-accented main bar, mounted bison heads, and 36 flatscreen TVs.
Bring your A-game since this restaurant serves one- to two-ounce shots of more than 100 different varieties of domestic whiskey. Basketball enthusiasts will appreciate the NCAA specials, so be sure to ask about them.
BAR 54 Rooftop
Bar 54, located on the roof of the Hyatt Times Square Hotel New York, on the 54th level (thus the name), is one of the most popular rooftop bars, where you can experience the hustle and bustle of the city. Because Bar 54 is also a lounge, you can visit even if the weather isn’t cooperating.
Bathtub Gin
This is a fantastic bar with an excellent assortment of cocktails and gins. Small delicacies such as fried calamari, grilled chicken, and burrata are available on the menu at this establishment.
Bill’s Bar and Burger
This pub is one of the spots in NYC that we consider a standout. As the name implies, great burgers and superb beer are available here. The list of draught and bottled beers is almost as long as the list of burgers—all of this at a reasonable cost.
Bounce Sporting Club
The Bounce Sporting Club is a great place to watch March Madness in NYC if you’re looking for a more upscale atmosphere. This venue, located on W 21st Street, has 30 HD flatscreen TVs and a 4,000-square-foot lounge area.
So, if you’re looking for a bigger screen to watch the games during the epidemic, check out this enormous sports bar that serves up inventive cocktails and pub fare with a twist.
Cantina Rooftop
You’ll feel like you’re in the Caribbean at the Cantina Rooftop Bar, where you can eat great guacamole and drink well-made drinks while listening to classical Mexican music. Aside from tequila in all its forms, there’s a wide range of other delectable beverages to choose from: The Cantina Margarita is a must-try.
Cibar
The Cibar, located near Union Square, is one of those tucked-away little bars that don’t look like much from the outside. If you’re inside and want to try one of their amazing drinks (we’re not rum fans, but we tried the “Hedo Rick” on the bartender’s recommendation). You know what we’re talking about when we say “crazy!” The Cibar is a fantastic New York bar!

The Cornerstone Tavern, located in Midtown East, is a well-known neighborhood hangout for Kansas fans who will undoubtedly pack the area to cheer on the Jayhawks. The owner, Xan Garcia, is believed to want to put several huge screens outdoors, but she must first get the city’s approval. If their latest scheme fails, you can anticipate the same level of service as in the past, including discounts on seven-pint beer towers and the popular onion dip with Old Bay chips.
Dear Irving
Dear Irving on Hudson, located on the 40th and 41st floors of the Aliz Hotel, is a city secret. This bar in the heart of Times Square combines a view of the city lights and skyline with the best cocktails in town.
Fitzgerald’s Pub
Fitzgerald’s Pub is one of NYC’s most popular Irish pubs, providing a terrific atmosphere for watching sports, listening to music, or enjoying a pint with friends. All of your favorite pub meals, such as wings, burgers, and fries, are available on the menu. They also provide a nice range of salads and sandwiches if you’re searching for something different. Don’t miss out on their excellent fish and chips.
Gabby O’Hara’s
Gabby O’Haras is a traditional Irish pub and restaurant in the middle of Times Square. Tourists and locals alike love this spot since it has everything for everyone, from Irish food to live music and even karaoke.
All of the Irish favorites are on the menu, including shepherd’s pie, boxty, bangers, and mash. They also have an excellent assortment of beers on tap, which is ideal for washing down your food! Make sure to try the beef stew, which is a local favorite.
Gallow Green Rooftop Garden
Gallow Green is a one-of-a-kind rooftop bar atop the McKittrick Hotel. Its charming and green atmosphere is what makes it so unique. The entire bar is overgrown in vegetation, and it certainly lives up to its name: It appears to be a garden! The amazing cocktails offered there should not be overlooked.
Haven Rooftop & Restaurant
The Haven Rooftop & Restaurant is located on Times Square in the center of the Theatre District. It’s located on the 10th level of the Sanctuary Hotel on 47th Street between 6th and 7th Avenue and provides a breathtaking view.
Despite its location in Times Square, it is very quiet. We enjoy the combination of “being in the heart of the city” and “yet enjoying peace and quiet,” and that’s precisely what you’ll find there.
Jack Doyle’s
Because it is only two blocks from Madison Square Garden, we headed to Jack Doyle’s before the New York Knicks game (three blocks from the Empire State Building). There is scarcely a way around them if you are searching for a wonderful, regular pub with amazing burgers and nice folks!
La Piscine
This location is on the roof of the Hotel Americano, a boutique hotel. Aside from a small pool, this rooftop bar offers perfect leisure with its several daybeds and cabanas. The Empire State Building and the Hudson River may both be seen from here.
If you’re wondering why there are so many Mexican-inspired drinks, it’s simple: the rooftop bar La Piscine is owned by a Mexican hotel company.
Le Bain Rooftop Bar
Le Bain Rooftop Bar is one of New York’s premier clubs and rooftop bars. A nice cocktail will set you back roughly $12, and admission is free, so the costs aren’t as high as in other prominent NYC nightclubs. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you want a spectacular perspective of Manhattan.
Molly’s Pub
Molly’s Pub, which is only three blocks from Madison Square Park and in the East Village, is one of our top favorites. We’ve long been admirers of this pub, and we’ve been coming here regularly since our first trips to New York. It’s quite realistic, with everything you’d expect from an Irish pub.
Monarch Rooftop
The Monarch Rooftop Lounge is a fantastic rooftop bar that we recommend to you. It not only has a stunning design, one of the city’s most gorgeous lounges, and an outdoor space, but it also has a spectacular view of the Empire State Building. The Monarch Rooftop Lounge should be on your myNY list if you’re seeking a place with wonderful food, reasonable costs, and relaxing music.
Mulligan’s Pub
Mulligans Authentic Irish Pub is located in the center of Murray Hill, only steps away from Grand Central Station. This is one of the best spots in NYC to get a pint of Guinness and some hearty Irish fare.
All of your favorite delicacies, such as shepherd’s pie, fish and chips, bangers, and mash, are available on the menu. Don’t miss out on their legendary Mulligan burger, which has bacon and cheddar cheese. Mulligans Pub is the ideal venue for a quick bite or a game watch.
On the Rocks
Over 300 whiskeys are available to pick from. The bartenders are quite knowledgeable and capable of creating fantastic cocktails. Beer connoisseurs will not be disappointed: the menu features over 125 different brews.
Ophelia Lounge NYC
Ophelia is one of the newest entrants to the Midtown East pub scene, offering 360-degree views of the East River and Manhattan skyline. We were skeptical at first because a massive public relations campaign followed the new launch. Everyone was praising Ophelia for her greatness and goodness.
Despite wanting to go early to NYC, we wanted to wait for the initial wave of COVID to end. Thus we only arrived recently. The Ophelia made our best list because they pleasantly surprised us: delicious cocktails, a really nice and harmonious environment, and a spectacular view. What more could you want? There’s even a tiny little section that’s open like a rooftop bar — what more could you want?
Oscar Wilde NYC
Oscar Wilde is a must and had to make its debut on our list of the most beautiful bars in NYC, even though we prefer it clean and immaculate when it comes to interior design. Even though I was overstimulated after 2 hours, the location is absolutely worth seeing!
P.J. Carney’s Pub
When we inquired about the greatest pub in the area, some locals recommended this establishment. You’ll find helpful employees, a wonderful assortment of beers, and the finest fish & chips you’ve ever tasted in a pub just north of the Theatre District. Simply put, it’s a fantastic location to unwind and enjoy a beer.
Paddy Reilly’s
Guinness is served on tap here. If you want bottled beer, don’t ask for it. It’s a little rough around the edges, but it’s unmistakably Irish. Every St. Patrick’s Day is a big deal in this town. Paddy Reilly’s is a charming, intimate Irish pub with live music most nights. You’ll like your time here because the environment is warm and inviting.
Salon de Ning im The Peninsula Hotel
A visit to the Rooftop bar, especially in the evening, is a highlight: the city lights shine, the many cars on 5th Avenue are constantly in motion, and you enjoy the silence in airy heights with spectacular views of two of the Big Apple’s most famous sights: the world’s most famous shopping mile “5th Avenue” and Manhattan’s green lung – Central Park.
Scallywag’s Irish Pub
On the outside, it’s bright red, but on the inside, it’s Irish! Scallywag’s is also deserving of a spot on our best-of list. It’s a classic pub in every way: courteous and helpful bartenders, a wide selection of drinks, and delicious bar food — all at a reasonable price. It’s not for naught that it’s in the hands of the residents!
SERRA by Birreria
Not only can you drink home-brewed beer on the EATALY’s roof, but you can also eat deliciously. It is, unsurprisingly, quintessentially Italian and of high quality: there are Portobello mushroom and Taleggio cheese sandwiches, antipasti, and many other delectable dishes.
SixtyFive Rooftop & Lounge
You can see almost 50 kilometers in multiple directions in good weather because of its excellent location: north, west, and south. The SixtyFive Bar and Rooftop-Lounge are closed on weekends! There is a clothing code: Jeans and a jacket are acceptable, but sneakers and base caps are not.
Sky Room
On the roof of the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Times Square, one of New York’s hippest lounges is located at the height of almost 120 meters (400 feet). The name says it all: from here, you can get a spectacular view of just about anything, from Times Square to the Hudson River to the Empire State Building. Thanks to the panoramic view!
