The restaurant serves French-Mediterranean cuisine.
Bubby’s High Line
Bubby’s restaurant and bar is a sleek and contemporary establishment that serves good meals and superb local beers. It’s a terrific location for breakfast, lunch, or dinner if you’re looking for some comfort cuisine.
Dos Caminos
Dos Casminos is particularly well-known for their fiery guacamole and excellent sangria. The restaurant’s charm is authentically Mexican in each of its five locations, and it makes for a pleasant break after a hard day at work or a strenuous tourist day.
Fig & Olive
Fig & Olive is a fine-dining establishment that specializes in seasonal Mediterranean cuisine. We discovered the eatery during a tour of the Meatpacking District at the end of 2016, and we’re still really pleased about it (see the Meatpacking District Insider Guide). It is housed in one of the ancient “warehouse” structures iconic in the region, near The Standard High Line Hotel at the end of High Line Park.
Old Homestead Steakhouse
The restaurant owners have a fantastic attitude toward their main business: they live and convey their passion for steak and traditions. Only the highest grade “Prime aged USDA” meat is eligible for the steaks at the Old Homestead Steakhouse. The Steakhouse, which opened its doors in 1868, is still on the same property.
