Top 3 Harlem Sports Bars
A neighbordhood bar uptown Manhattan. Good brew, good food, great, mixed crowd.

In recent years, New York’s Harlem neighborhood has experienced growth. There have been more hip bars, eateries, and lounges opening up. It is a fantastic location to visit because it keeps you away from the midtown throng while yet giving you a sense of the city.

Sports bars in Harlem have grown in popularity since they are available in a variety of sizes and settings. There are so many options available that it can be difficult to decide! You can learn more about our top 3 choices below. If you visit one while you’re in the city, please let us know!

You may think of Harlem as a nasty neighborhood, but the west side of the borough has developed into a wonderful destination. In Harlem, the environment is still quite dilapidated if you move east. Enjoy your time and remain on the West side!

1. Harlem Public

This New York tavern combines sports with a cozy neighborhood atmosphere. Despite the restaurant’s medium size in Harlem, the average wait time for a table is around 20 minutes. Additionally, they provide bar seats where you may eat and drink. When it’s warm outside, they offer additional seating on the sidewalk as well.

When the weather is warm, they open the windows, which creates a cozy ambiance that we appreciate. A few mixed cocktails with the names of the owners’ daughters are among the craft beers that are always being rotated on draught in the drink menu. (One of the best is The Adeline!) This sports bar in Harlem is one of our favorites since it’s a wonderful location to get a quick drink or spend the afternoon watching sports!

  • The Public’s Burger with tater tots $9.95

2. Harlem Tavern

The enormous TVs and outside beer garden at Harlem Tavern make it one of the greatest sports bars in Harlem. Additionally, it is roomy and offers a welcoming urban bar atmosphere as you enter. They have outdoor and indoor community tables as well as smaller tables for more personal dining, just a few blocks from Central Park.

They also have a kids’ menu and a variety of food and beverages. The outdoor community tables are covered by a heated space in the winter, but in the spring and summer, they are transformed into a sizable patio. The fact that many of the tables and their largest outdoor TV screen are in the outdoor area makes this place particularly enjoyable in warmer months. It’s a fantastic spot to enjoy a sporting event with friends while enjoying the sunshine!

The superb brick oven pizza and wide selection of beers at this Harlem sports pub have made it a local favorite. In addition, they regularly provide happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m. with $5 beers and $6 mixed beverages.

It’s a nice place where we like to spend some time relaxing and having a light supper. Additionally, they frequently provide beer specials on game days and occasionally offer discounts on their pizzas. While there, their stylish design is definitely a great touch.
