Best Hotels in Midtown Manhattan

For your upcoming trip to New York, are you looking for a beautiful hotel in Midtown? Which hotel is the most lovely to stay in, you wonder? Check out our top list, I say! Numerous hotels in New York have been put to the test by us over the years. So stop searching since we have listed the top hotels in Midtown for you.

Equinox Inn

We had the good fortune to spend two nights at The Equinox Hotel at Hudson Yards, one of New York’s newest and trendiest hotels. The rooftop bar and lounge with views of the Hudson River is the highlight (apart from the hotel itself). Spectacular.

Marriott’s Residence Inn New York Manhattan-Central Park

The Residence Inn at Central Park, one of the tallest structures in the region, is easy to spot. The view is lovely from here! Even from the bathtub in certain apartments, you can see all of Central Park, Times Square is close by, and the decor is lovely. If you’re looking for a hotel in the region, this is unquestionably a recommendation!

Affinia’s Shelburne Hotel & Suites

One of my personal recommendations is the Shelburne Hotel & Suites by Affinia, which is situated on Murray Hill between 37th and 38th Street. We have personally stayed at this hotel numerous times.

The Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building are just a short distance apart. Additionally accessible on foot are the shopping districts 5th Avenue and Park Avenue, as well as Grand Central Station and Times Square. Our room had a view of the Empire, which was fantastic!

Hotel The Refinery

I cannot express how highly I suggest the Refinery Hotel. It is conveniently located (only two blocks from Bryant Park), offers one of the city’s most laid-back rooftop bars (with a view of the Empire State Building), and has spacious, tastefully decorated rooms. You’ll undoubtedly feel comfortable here!

Inn at Ace, New York

Two chic restaurants, a bar, and a lovely boutique hotel are all located here. The hotel is a short distance from the Herald Square subterranean station. The large rooms are each uniquely decorated.

A&Z Fifth Avenue

The Andaz brand of hotels represents the highest standards and quality. The Andaz Wall Street Hotel and this one, the Andaz 5th Avenue Hotel, serve as examples of this.

It is situated on Manhattan’s renowned 5th Avenue, as the name would imply. As a result, a number of attractions, including Central Park, Times Square, Bryant Park, Summit One Vanderbilt, and the Empire State Building, are conveniently close by.

The boutique hotel itself has all the amenities that a 5-star New York hotel would have, including spacious rooms, opulent decor, helpful staff, and a chic bar.

Archer Inn

A boutique hotel with a prime location on Bryant Park is The Archer Hotel. The apartments are incredibly fashionable, and some of them even have views of the Empire State Building. The hotel’s little bar on the roof is something else we loved.

NoMad Arlo

When making your (first) trip to New York, this lovely hotel is practically ideal because it’s close to the Empire State Building. Not only is this location extremely fashionable, but it also offers a rooftop bar and patio from where you can enjoy breathtaking views of New York, including, of course, the Empire State Building up close. tough to beat

New York’s Baccarat Hotel and Residences

Simply said, there are the Baccarat Hotel and Residences New York, and there are five-star hotels. One of the nicest hotels in all of New York City is the Baccarat Hotel, a true luxury establishment. Even Condé Nast listed it as one of the top 30 hotels in the world.

The rooms and suites are similarly lavish and traditionally designed, and the lobby is magnificent. There is also a superb restaurant and bar, as well as a spa with a wellness area.

Hotel Broadway Plaza

One of the most well-known hotels in the region is the Broadway Plaza Hotel, which is only two blocks from Madison Square Park and the Flatiron Building. It’s a really lovely boutique hotel in the middle of the city, and I would highly suggest it!

Broken Shaker

You may already be familiar with Broken Shaker if you’ve had the pleasure of touring the United States because they have sites in Los Angeles, Miami, and Chicago. Well, with some of the best views in the city, their New York bar more than holds its own!

Hotel Chelsea Pines

This chic bed and breakfast is situated in Chelsea. The hotel’s interior is really eye-catching, with authentic Hollywood movie posters among other decorations on the walls.

CitizenM Times Square, New York

A chic hotel featuring a lounge, bar, and rooftop bar is located in Times Square and is called The citizenM New York. It is one of the most well-liked hotels in the region, and because of its prime position, you can easily walk to all the major attractions.

Hotel Club Quarters

The Club Quarters Hotel offers something that only a select few New York hotels have: the lounge “Skybar,” which you may enter as a guest and enjoy a fantastic view of the city from here (there is also free coffee and soft drinks). The rooms are also rather spacious, making it possible for families to stay comfortably!

Courtyard Manhattan in New York

The Hudson Yards location of the Courtyard New York Manhattan/Midtown West in New York features stylish décor, a restaurant, and a bar. Great views can be seen from the higher-floor rooms; depending on where you stay, you may be able to see the Empire State Building or the Hudson River.

Hilton Doubletree New York Times Square West

The Doubletree By Hilton New York Times Square is only a few blocks away from other hotels. The “Times Square West” is, in my opinion, the best of the bunch. There is a roof patio and a fantastic view of the city from the upper rooms.

City of New York’s Heritage Hotel

In the Flatiron District, a low-cost insider suggestion is the Heritage Hotel New York City. Although the rooms are small, they are clean, and the location couldn’t be better. It’s ideal for anyone seeking a reasonably priced hotel in a nice area. This is the one for you if you’re merely searching for a place to sleep, so to speak.

Central Hilton Garden Inn Times Square

The Hilton Garden Inn West 35th Street entered my list of the top hotels in New York not just because of its fantastic location—many of the city’s most well-known attractions, including the SUMMIT One Vanderbilt, Bryant Park, and Times Square—but also because it is just a short stroll away. Additionally, because of its exceptional price-performance ratio!

Inn at the Hilton West 35th Street

The Hilton Garden Inn West 35th Street topped my list of the top hotels in New York not just for its fantastic location, as several of the city’s most well-known attractions, like the Empire State Building, Bryant Park, and Times Square, are all easily accessible on foot. Additionally, because of its exceptional price-performance ratio!

Hotel 31

The name Hotel 31 refers to the hotel’s location on 31st Street, which lies between Park and Lexington Heights. There are many bars, restaurants, and cafés around the hotel; we were really pleased! Within easy walking distance are the Empire State Building, Times Square, Herald Square, and Madison Square Park.

By New York standards, the hotel is virtually a steal: double rooms start at 120 EUR (excluding breakfast). The accommodations are intentionally kept basic, yet this is perfect for a couple of nights. Additionally, you’ll probably spend most of your time in your hotel room napping.

Some rooms have their own bathrooms, while others share a bathroom with another room on the same level and have a separate toilet area. These are nearly pristine since they are cleaned numerous times each day. The location, cost, and cleanliness of Hotel 31 make it a recommendation even though the hotel won’t soon win any design honors.

Millennium Broadway Hotel

The Millennium Broadway Hotel, which was once known as Millennium Times Square, is situated, as its name implies, right in the throbbing center of Manhattan. It gets points for location even though it isn’t the most modern hotel nowadays.

Hyatt Centric Times Square New York

New York Times Square is home to the Hyatt Centric hotel, which features a rooftop lounge and exceptionally lovely rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows. Consequently, you enjoy a stunning perspective of the city. The upper floors have gorgeous accommodations!

JW Marriott Essex House New York

The about 140-metre-high JW Marriott Essex House has 439 rooms, including 70 suites, all of which have recently undergone renovations. The magnificent hotel dazzles with art deco features, clever digital applications, and a gorgeous lobby with views of Manhattan and Central Park. Near Columbus Circle, near the southern edge of Central Park, is where you’ll also find the JW Marriott Essex House.

Knickerbocker Hotel

One of the most well-liked lodging options in Times Square’s renowned Theater District is the Knickerbocker Hotel. By New York standards, the rooms are quite spacious and contemporary. After a long day in New York, St. Clouds, the hotel’s rooftop terrace, is the perfect place to unwind with a beautiful view of Times Square.

The Library Hotel

A tiny boutique hotel called Library Hotel by Library Hotel Collection is located in Murray Hill. Check it out if you’re seeking a laid-back yet fashionable hotel! There is a rooftop bar there where you may unwind after a long day.

It is conveniently close to attractions like Rockefeller Center, One Vanderbilt, Times Square, and the Empire State Building. Because it is situated in Murray Hill, a residential neighborhood, it is incredibly quiet at night.

Lotte New York Palace Hotel

Hotel Lotte New York Palace In the center of Midtown Manhattan, Lotte is a luxurious hotel with a unique appeal. You’ll find here everything you’d expect from a five-star hotel! Large rooms, elegant architecture, and helpful staff go above and above to make you feel at home.

This hotel is a good choice if you’re seeking accommodations in the heart of New York City because it’s close to Central Park, Rockefeller Center, and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. This indicates that all of the significant attractions are close by and accessible by foot. Additionally, the Lotte New York Hotel includes a fantastic spa area if you wish to unwind. The spa facility of the Lotte New York Hotel is fantastic!

The M Social Hotel in Times Square

The M Social New York is a recently remodeled hotel in the Theatre District of Times Square. It’s a Times Square hotel that ranks among my top 27 New York hotels with a wonderful view, along with the Hyatt Times Square. The rooms offer views of Broadway, Times Square, or the Hudson River and are quite stylish and modern.

Although it is in a highly desirable area, you may still sleep peacefully here. The floor-to-ceiling windows’ soundproof glazing makes this possible. Everything is close by, from Rockefeller Center with its “Top of the Rock” viewing platform to famed Broadway, where you may catch the most well-known shows in New York.

MADE Hotel

MADE Hotel One of the hippest lodging options in this area, which I personally adore, the MADE Hotel is situated in the center of Midtown. A rooftop bar and lounge called “Lounge Good Behavior” is located on the hotel’s 18th level, adding the cherry on top to the modern, extremely well-designed, and lushly green environment of the establishment. The city view is absolutely lovely!

There are numerous additional sites in New York that are easily accessible without using the subway, including Washington Square Park and Union Square, which are each only three blocks away from the Empire State Building. The MADE Hotel is situated on the boundary between Murray Hill and Koreatown, which is why I included it on my list of the top hotels in Murray Hill, New York City.

Margaritaville Resort Times Square

The Margaritaville Resort Times Square introduces Mexico to New York and is the only hotel in Times Square with a rooftop pool! I’ve never before noticed “tropical” elements at Times Square, so it’s incredibly exciting. The Margaritaville Resort Times Square is changing that by bringing a tropical beach holiday vibe to the Big Apple.

Two restaurants and a number of bars, including a Tiki bar, the Licence to Chill, and the 5 O’Clock Somewhere, are located inside the hotel. They don’t take themselves too seriously, as you can see, which I really appreciate!

Millennium Hilton New York One UN Plaza

The New York Millennium Hilton One UN Plaza, commonly known as “ONE UN New York,” is a hotel in New York with a stunning view of the East River, the Chrysler and Empire State Buildings, and the newest observation deck, The Summit.

As the name implies, you are in Murray Hill, right by the UN headquarters; the area is quiet, and there are dozens of laid-back bars and eateries close by. I really enjoy Murray Hill because of this.

Motto by Hilton New York City Chelsea

Hilton’s The Motto in New York City One of New York’s newest boutique hotels is called Chelsea. You can walk to all the major attractions because it is conveniently positioned at Madison Square Park, which is on the border of Chelsea and Gramercy.

The hotel itself is very fashionable and has a stunning perspective of the city. Even though the rooms aren’t particularly large, they are of excellent quality and are attractively furnished. You may end your day in style at the hotel’s restaurant and bar.

New York EDITION

The Flatiron Building’s New York EDITION Hotel is ideally situated next to Madison Square Park, making it the ideal choice for anyone looking for a particularly luxurious hotel during their visit to New York.

One of the top hotels in New York City’s Flatiron District, it boasts rooms that are spacious even by New York standards, wide windows that provide a stunning view of the city, and a Michelin-starred restaurant.

The bar is another highlight because it is very fashionable, has a terrific ambiance, and serves excellent cocktails. The Hotel New York Edition is fantastic, in my opinion.

Marriott Marquis New York

In Times Square, New York, the Marriott Marquis is a wonderful hotel with a 360-degree restaurant. Particularly if you reserve one of the “City View” rooms, it’s a terrific spot to stay. As you could have predicted, the view from these rooms is spectacular!

New York’s Park Lane

One of the nicest hotels in the area, in my opinion, is the Park Lane Hotel at Central Park South. If you’re in New York for Thanksgiving, you can even watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade NYC from the Park Lane Hotel, thanks to the never-ending views of Central Park from the hotel rooms.

You’ll adore the hotel’s ambiance, which is both chic and inviting. By New York standards, the rooms are quite spacious, and the beds are very comfy.

Pestana Park Avenue

One of the most attractive hotels in Murray Hill, in my opinion, is Pestana Park Avenue. Its rooms are exceptionally spacious by New York standards, well appointed, and some of them even have balconies from which to view the city, particularly the Empire State Building.

The foyer, balcony, and rooms all have modern furnishings because they just recently opened. You are in the center of the city and just a short stroll away from sights like Bryant Park and Grand Central Station!

Renaissance Hotel in Times Square, New York

The four-star Renaissance New York Times Square Hotel is well situated on the street that bears its name. It is tastefully designed, with dark furniture and decorations in gold and blue. With floor-to-ceiling windows, the hotel rooms provide a fantastic view of Times Square (not just to the ball drop). At the Renaissance New York Times Square Hotel, you’ll feel right at home.

Royalton Park Avenue

The boutique hotel “Royalton Park Avenue” is among the best in Midtown. There is a gorgeous interior (I adore the design), as well as a rooftop bar and pool. The lounge is on the first level, while the rooftop patio is on the second. There is no other option than Royalton Park Avenue if you want to stay in style in the middle of Manhattan.

The Chatwal

One of Times Square’s most opulent hotels is this one. The best theatres on Broadway are only a 5-minute walk from this Art Deco boutique hotel. The hotel is renowned for its traditional grandeur, which includes butler service in each room. A renowned spa, the finest linens, soft bathrobes, and every kind of opulent item can be found there as well.

The bar and grill restaurant The Lambs Club in the Chatwal serves traditional American food that has been updated and given a touch of haute cuisine. The restaurant offers a 232 m2 lounge with 20-foot windows overlooking the city that is situated on a mezzanine level. If you want to escape reality for a few days and indulge in opulent luxury in the best city in the world, the Chatwal Hotel in Times Square is unrivaled.

The Manhattan Club

Only three streets separate The Manhattan Club from Central Park in Midtown. The hotel is close to all the major New York attractions, and the rooms are comfortable and stylish.

The Marcel at Gramercy’s

One of the best and most well-known hotels in New York’s Gramercy Park is The Marcel. It nearly seems like a boutique hotel because of how gorgeous and tastefully designed the rooms are. The modest but lovely roof patio, from which you can even view the Empire State Building, is a particular feature.

For those looking for a convenient but quiet hotel, Gramercy, New York City, is the perfect location. Union Square, Madison Square Park, and the Flatiron Building are all within easy walking distance. Union Square and Madison Square Park are just three blocks distant.

The Nomad Hotel

Madison Square Garden is about a five-minute walk from this opulent hotel. You may enjoy a beautiful view of the city from each of the stylishly equipped rooms.

The Peninsula Hotel

Every ranking of New York City accommodations with the greatest views of Manhattan should include The Peninsula Hotel. It is in the middle of Manhattan, and it feels as though you could reach out and touch the skyline.

The vitality of the city can be felt from its terrace, thanks to its location on 55th Street and 5th Avenue. The sights are stunning during the day, but once night falls, they reach a whole another level.

From here, you can see the tiny-looking people running among them and the yellow taxis chugging through midtown to the beat of the traffic lights. Thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows in the spa area, you can also take in this breathtaking view from your bed.

The Salon de Ning, a tiny rooftop bar on The Peninsula, is a fantastic place to spend the evening.

The Plaza New York

The Plaza is most certainly the most well-known hotel near Central Park. The famed luxury hotel, which debuted in 1907, is a piece of New York’s long history. It must be included on any list of the top hotels in the city, of course. The Plaza is now a recognized landmark in New York.

Over the years, this famous structure has welcomed countless celebrities and other notable visitors. The hotel is perhaps familiar to you from the Home Alone 2 classic from the 1990s. Numerous more well-known plays also have amazing interior design and a façade in the French Renaissance style. The Plaza is situated close to Fifth Avenue at the southernmost point of Central Park.

The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park

With its recent redesign of the entire hotel, The Ritz-Carlton now presents itself as a haven of luxury in the middle of New York City. The Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge on the second floor of the hotel serves cocktails with a stunning view of Central Park, and the new La Prairie Spa is really stunning. At the south end of Central Park is where you’ll find the Ritz-Carlton. What else would you anticipate from a Ritz, after all? It’s amazing.

The Roger

The Empire State Building, Madison Square Garden, and a variety of retail options can all be found nearby the Roger Roger Hotel in Herald Square. The boutique hotel’s rooms are stylishly designed, and some of them have balconies with city views (and the Empire State Building).

Because the cuisine was crafted by renowned gourmet chefs and offers a lot of beautiful refinement, the hotel restaurant is highly welcoming. Breakfast is served with croissants and pastries, and the Mezzanine lounge welcomes you to linger with cocktails. There is no doubt that this book deserves four stars. The Roger Hotel is most impressive for its urbanity, which blends well into New York City life.

The Setai Fifth Avenue

The Setai Fifth Avenue at the Empire State Building, formerly known as “The Langham,” is a premium hotel with outstanding service that particularly attracts couples. Langham Place, New York, Fifth Avenue is situated in the most populated area of the city and has excellent access to public transportation.

Just under 40m2 in size, the rooms are furnished in a very contemporary style. The bathrooms wow with a bathtub, shower, and a TV built right into the mirror. Athletes will adore the very well-equipped on-site gym, and the Michelin-starred restaurant will excite foodies. The Setai Fifth Avenue is excellently positioned for a day of touring in New York because it is just adjacent to the Empire State Building.

The Langham Palace is not fully inexpensive, but it is something really remarkable in any case, so tourists with a somewhat greater travel budget should especially consider staying at this hotel at the Empire State Building!

It is one of the most beautiful hotels in the city in my opinion since it has a really unique charm that I find to be quite appealing in addition to being exquisitely decorated.

The Whitby Hotel’s guest rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows and, in some cases, a little terrace. This hotel is a great choice for you if you’re looking for something truly unique!
